Vellam means water, isn't it?
Panjasara means sugar, I thought.
But who I am to know? I am not good in Malayalam.

Ooh..
Ok let me clear something.
Vellam in Tamil means Jaggery (that golden yellow colored sugary-sweety substance)
Vellam in Malayalam means water.

The vellam that I have mentioned is the Tamil one, Jaggery.

Sorry for the confusion :)
